Bayonetta on Steam

Thu 13th Apr 2017 - 11:01pm : General : Gaming

This week PC gamers are getting the chance to experience a classic that console owners have been able to enjoy for years.

Bayonetta, the feisty ass-kicking witch who wears a jumpsuit made of her own hair, has been released on Steam.

As someone who has never played a Bayonetta game, but has always been quite keen to, this release will surely add a great new game to my Steam library. Not only that but until April 25th 6.00pm GMT if you buy the game you’ll get the Digital Deluxe Editions bonus content for free, certainly a satisfying addition for a hoarder like me.

The bonus digital content includes:

  • Digital OST Sampler
  • Digital Art Book
  • Wallpapers
  • Avatars

One of the greatest notable advantages of this PC port is that you will get to experience the game in all its glory at up to 60fps and 4k resolution. Other advantages include full steam support, meaning that the achievement hunters amongst us have 50 shiny achievements to unlock as well as trading cards to collect. Who doesn’t want shiny new badges for their profile?

With hectic completely over-the-top combat of a similar style to that of Devil May Cry, they have the same director in the form of Hideki Kamiya, what you get is a fast paced hack and slash adventure.  Your arsenal of weapons, which is incredibly impressive for someone only wearing their hair as clothing, and monstrous torture attacks you’ll be able to send your enemies straight to hell in no time at all.

In short, this game may be 9 years old but is a great pick up which I’ll be grabbing after payday and if you have a spare £15 or $20 then I say go for it and add a triple A title to your PC game collection.

Note: it is recommended to play with a controller.
